"advocate for the employees" is what George Tiger promised on the back of one of his very poorly made signs. Well, on their first day back, employees are having to pack their stuff up and leave. Oh, and I don't know if anyone knows this but there's not that many jobs in Okmulgee County.
Watch folks, he'll have a press conference at council oak or somewhere and he'll denounce the federal and state government and say we are a sovereign nation about five thousand times. Hell probably make some racist comment about whites and how the "Creator" will guide him and get us through all this.
For the record, he's barely got a high school diploma, he tries to play victim in everything and unfortunately, we live in Oklahoma and pay taxes so speak all you want about them but theres laws we have to follow. Oh, and one more thing, if he's denouncing the "white" government then why is our constitution modeled like the federal government and we hold elections?
PS. Anyone notice George has green eyes and is in far worse shape than berryhill?
Reply to this
If ouar constitution is modeled like the federal government then something is missing because the President of the United States doesn't have control over Congress (our National Council) and the Judicial Branch (District and Supreme Court)like George is going to have. So George is going to have more power over the Nation than the President has over the entire United States.
George shouldn't make any comments about whites I heard he hired a non-Indian..so much for jobs for the Creek citizens. George said his mentors were Bill Fife and Perry Beaver..I guess get got his advise from Bill Fife on firing employees since that was what he did when he became Chief and look he was Chief only one term...Take heed George this might happen to you..one term. He should have taken advise from Perry Beaver on firing employees..Perry didn't fire employees even if they didn't support him..he said as long as they are doing their job then they can stay. How many terms did Perry serve..two terms. Food for thought George.

I say remember all these names for when it all comes tumbling down and these people are fugitives from justice. Matt took off to Florida after he and his wife gave community money to old George a few years back. Now I guess George is returning the favor. I figured old Pickering would be in there some place since he has been supporting George monetarily from the Eufaula community and casino. The nation is doomed! These people have no qualifications other than thievery! Like I said take names and get all the documentation you can. George won't put his name to anything, other than checks, he uses others for his underhandedness.

I see that Chief Tiger hired his first Cherokee. So much for Creek preference. Everyone is excited to have James Pratt back as controller
Reply to this
James Pratt (Is your comment a sarcasm or are you real excited?)
Cherokee Hicks
Gerald Wofford - heard he will be retained at the newspaper.
Hear Ron Qualls is gone.
So is Ed McLemore (is he non-Creek?)
The real hurt is hearing some really good Creek citizens that are gone.

Latest names thrown about for positions:
Judy Haumpy --- Sec. of Nation (was held by a learned attorney Kevin Dellinger)
Lucy Spaulding --- Dir. of Community Services.
If you know these 2 women, you should go hang George for his lack of judgment. By the way, they are Tigerettes! Pay-off time.
Reply to this
I am sorry to hear that Kevin Dellinger is no longer employed with the tribe. Kevin is a knowledgable, personable, honest and forthright individual. He was truly more interested in the the services he could provide the Citizens rather than what the tribe could provide to him. Probably why his services were not retained. He will be sorely missed at the Complex.

This news truly saddens me. I wish this intelligent man the best in all of his Journeys! Thank you for your service Mr. Dellinger!

I certainly hope MCN Principal Chief George Tiger replaces the Deputy Director of Tribal Affairs, Bob Miller, he is a two faced backstabbing liar.

I'm no GT supporter whatsoever. I thought his election would fit well into the Mayan calendar. But, I'm not completely nauseated by these selections.
Selecting Pratt shows me that GT is OK with having someone who knows what they're doing in office. You may not like James but he knows that job and is not a yes man. Jerry Wilson is smart. I've been impressed by Judy Haumpy in my interactions with her and also with Jerry McPeak. While there are a few that I've been unimpressed with I'll reserve judgment for the time being.
And I also think the world of Kevin Dellinger but that is an appointed position and there will be turnover in those positions when there is a change of office. Surely Kevin knew that and was prepared.
Reply to this
I think the point here is NOT whether Kevin knew he might be terminated, its about the fact that he knew his job and did his job. Proven capable employee. Will probably be replaced by someone who will have to learn the job, and who will teach this?

Roger Wiley will make a good attorney general so long as he does what is right. James Pratt as controller..he was controller before but hope this time he can lay his head on his pillow at night and don't feel guilty about his job. Apparently he can be a "YES" man. Jerry Wilson was executive director before under Bill Fife's administration. What did he do then...cut salaries and take away fringes. Will he do the same thing this time. Edwin McLemore should have stayed with the Cherokees. JD Colbert what does a banker know about Housin? Nelson Johnson does he still have a business selling casino machines? Is this a conflict? Judy Haumpy was Self-Govn. Coordinator under Beaver administration and for a time under Ellis administration..but I heard all she did was travel. Jerry McPeak I guess George needs a politican on his staff to help him out with the Tobacco Compact with the State. William Dowdy..he was once the manager of GSA/Facilities but before the election I heard he talked about GT & RB.

I'm tired already of George telling us "the people wanted real change." The MCN constitution says a change in the office of principal chief will be made every 8 years. That's what happened. Change didn't happen with the exception of the George having control of all 3 branches of government. With the Dana Johnson ruling by MCN supreme court that was the entity that George needed to make his authority complete. District court, supreme court, attorney general, controller, national council and soon to be gaming authority is his.
If Chief Ellis had not been term limited this "CHANGE" wouldn't have happened.
There is not change with anyone he is putting in place. Everyone put in place by george so far is a return with the exception of the felon woman VanBuskirk.
With Pickering in control of T&C he can broker land deals for george.

What ruling on D.Johnson by MCN Supreme Court. Thought that wasn't until Feb..

George replaced Dean Williams with Bill Doty. Dean always did a great job.
Directors, now managers and even employees are leaving. If you're not a georgette - your gone.
Keep these name in mind, Dean Tiger, Floyd Jones, Ed Mouser, the woman and man from Eufaula - Bogumil, the white guy from Beggs - Dean Lee, little big mouth - Johnna Townsend, Floyd Bales, that woman - Pruitt from Eufaula.
Eufaula is getting some good stuff. With T Pickering and his felon followers nothing is impossible.

You sound like another George basher. Everything that facilities ( under d.williams )fixed or repaired was done with chewing gum and bailing wire at best. Why don't you call Dean and ask how much work he and his crew did at the ex executive. dir Claude Sumners private residence?

Gerald Wofford is a joke of a Manager - he got there by the "good ole boy" system via Mike Flud! He was rewarded for being a dedicated 20+year employee. that's how he got where he is!! He needs to GO!!!
I also saw Cherokee Hicks hangin' around the Inauguration - looking for a job maybe?? I hope not!! We got enough of her crazy moodiness the first time around!!
Then he comes James Pratt again! Suppose he'll hire back all those hateful ol women back that resigned!
Don't forget Ed McLemore!
Why do we get all the Cherokee rejects??
Reply to this
Only one hateful woman left, that was Kathy Guthrie. Joyce, Lisa, and Ruby r still there.

All the campaigning and butt kissing paid off for Johnna Townsend word is that George Tiger arranged for her to start on Monday as an "emergency hire" in Ruth Bible's former position. Another supporter that he arranged for a job is Sarai Geary heard a few weeks back that she was under Tourism and failed to show up, but is now is in the front office. Anyone hear any other "transitions"?
Reply to this
To hear and see how Johnna was a fickle supporter of Chiefs shows her immaturity to make good judgements on issues with strong convictions. I hope the hiring of these two "young" ladies is based on experience and education and not superficial qualities.
Reply to this
The extent of their qualifications are superficial qualities only. Check their FB comments. Only qualifications are having fatherless children. Would that be making good judgements with strong convictions? Maybe in their world and George's.
Reply to this
It's goin to be interesting to see if either of those two can pass a background check. Johnna Townsend has TWO DUI's under one of her many names: Kalbach, Doucette, Wilcoxson. The other has quite a rap sheet also in her home state Kansas or where ever she's from. But, I guess that's what it takes! Birds of a feather flock together especially jailbirds.
Reply to this
They won't be background checked!
The drug testing is stopped also.
George & Roger refused to take drug tests while on the NC and they "ain't gonna do it now."
Reply to this
None of this administration could pass a background check. from the chief down. George has been sued or written hot checks all over the state and Barnett is being sued for child support and is living with a gal in okmulgee rent free. shouldn't his income be applied to her rent? check the credentials of some of the managers he has put in place? nothing after high school. how are these people qualified other than the fact they played ball with old george back in the day and apparently are playing ball with him again. that in itself ought to tell you that we have made the biggest mistake of the nations existence by electing George (wannabe) tiger as our leader. Shame on us!

You can add another Georgette to the list of new hires:
Luann (Bemo) Bear, a Seminole, who also has a checkered history. Smile in your face and stab you in your back. Has been known to have sticky fingers too. Her only qualification is being a very close friend of Cherrah Ridge, new 2nd speaker.

dean williams is gone?? he's a good guy and did a good job. anyone following him will have big shoes to fill.
Reply to this
Dean williams is a really good guy. he did do a good job running his department(he will be missed). And as of right now i hear 1 person has been let go that was a part of Deans Facilities/Gsa department. But i was also told that Mr.Dowdys will slowly do away with employees in facilities/gsa department within the next few months and replace them with his own Staff.

I thought they (staff) had a going away party for Ed Mc/ cause he was leaving. Did he change his mind?

This is one of our concerns. Getting rid of young, educated and qualified Creeks who want to work in the Creek Nation, but for whatever reasons, got the axe from George and his henchmen.
Now too long ago, a young OU graduate was hired at Communications. Yesterday, he was fired. He blamed George, Roger, Gerald Wofford and Edwin Marshall for the hatchet. He is probably right, as this is happening all over the complex. Wofford, a Cherokee, gets to stay on while one of our Creeks is thrown out. Is this right? I don't think so. It was pure politics, plain and simple. Check it out about the politics.

The word out is Roger's partners niece has been made an offer to run communications department, apparently she works for Cheroke Nation. Also a sister has been recently hired with the tribe too. This way they will hav total controll over what is being printed and discussed within the tribe.
Reply to this
Theyve made an offer to three individuals. She wasn't one of them. George is looking for someone to only print things that make him look good.
Reply to this
There was a total of THREE employees from communications! The other two are ENROLLED Creek citizens too!! And guess what, they didn't support ole George Tiger or Roger Barnett campaigns. Just like Dean Williams and several other employees that are CREEK citizens terminated for not supporting George Tiger!!
Reply to this
What is wrong with you people. Get over it. George is recycling people from past administrations that supported him in is battles against Ellis. Pratt served under Ellis during his first term until Ellis found out he was undermining him. This is not about what is good for the Muscogee Nation but how George covers his butt.
To the victor goes the spoils

Did Gerald Wofford get to keep his job by making a pact with the devil? To keep his position for firing those three CREEKS??
Reply to this
Yup! Gerald Wofford is doing everything he can to keep his job. He has no other experience other than the tribe and like Edwin Marshall is nothing more than just sitting back and collecting a paycheck. Gerald probably thinks he's going to retire from the tribe but he won't. I hope they get rid of him. Let's see if he goes running to his old buddy Lucas. They're both cowards.

Well the ethnic purge contiues this time in Lighthorse, Acting Chief Richard Fixico is getting rid of all of the the non-identifyable indians and replace them with the same idiots that tried to run Lighthorse before, guess one of the for certain things about Tiger is that he is definately not manager material, but hey guess he doesn't have to be, its trial and error time the bad thing is he is gambling with the safety and welfare of the people of the nation, but guess that doesn't matter he got elected for how long we don't know hopefully if Wisner did get indicted the rest of the story will come out. Anyway back to Lighthorse Richard Fixico in as Chief hope this is only temporary, this individual doesn't have sense enough to stack bricks but for those that don't know him stick around you will get to find out. Only problem with this is its been said that his buddy Jerry Wittman is second in charge, this may be a good thing because at least he can make Fixico look intelligent, God help Us!!!

On Monday, let's see if George does a mass firing when he meets with all the employees. Will he take a moment to remember those who served the tribe well?
Will he do what Oklahoma did and meet with everyone at dawn and have them turn one way and then face the other while the sun is setting? I believe the state used it as a way for the Indians to "forget the past" and look to a brighter future.

I have to say I was pretty P.O.'d with Rhonda Beaver's memo today about the "MANDATORY" meet & greet with the chief. Yes, the word "MANDATORY" was on there. I didn't vote for thief, I sure as hell don't want to shake his hand or listen to anymore of his lies. If he wants to meet the employees he can drag his sorry butt around to all the clinics, ENP centers, and other departments and see what real work looks like.

Rhonda Beaver in the 2007 election fought George Tiger at every forum and all but called him a thief and liar.
Rhonda Beaver is another promisee.

The employees are also wearing buttons with GT & RB pictures on their chests.
Now this is getting down right freaky.
Guess those guys have campaigned for so many years they're still on the "Campaign Trail."
Someone should tell them they have already been elected by the of creek VOTERS (not citizens).
Reply to this
I wonder how much this coronation..oops I mean inauguration cost the tribe. I guess George and Roger are proud of their pictures.
Reply to this
Well the freaky continues. They were passing out their ego buttons at the mandatory meeting today for employees. Did anyone notice how few employees were wearing them and the large number of them left on the floor and in the parking lot.
Just so you know George has let the dogs out today saying employees didn't have to clock in or out. Wrong thing to do fella. I work for the tribe and in an office that previously employees abused their and the tribes time. Came in up to one hour late. Took 2 hour lunches. For those who value our job and have pride in our work, and want to provide services will continue to be honest with our time. It becomes very unfair to the citizens needing services to havr to wait till 9am for an employee to come in that should have been there at 8.
Please don't complain at our office. Go tell george about it. Supposedly he has an open door policy.

Well stated!
I wonder how this event went.
R. Beaver will do whatever Perry wants, just like Brant who happens to be on the gaming board. His daddy still calls the shots there.
Perry Beaver is a very close friend of George. Even at the coronation/inauguration, George made it clear that Perry is his MENTOR.

To bad those "let go" won't get the severance package that Jeff Fife and Daniel Wind got from Duck Creek!!
Reply to this
Why didn't they get severance pay?
Apparently Fife and Wind didn't break any laws by taking that untaxed money.
Sorry, silly me. Only the true chosen ones.

that remains to be seen and that could change if Chief Tigers new Justice department decides to drop the appeal that is now in federal court.

Does anyone know if the mother of Roger's daughters reported that he is officially living in Okmulgee with her. So her mortgage payment can be increased like the rest of us? She works for housing and since he got his big raise. This would be considered a family of four with a increased income.
Reply to this
Her payment won't change. The reason she got a house is because she had babies for Roger while on the NC.
Rules, laws, policies, practices, tests and all the other things Creek citizens and employees have to abide by ARE NOT MEANT FOR THE CHOSEN ONES.
